Boiler Room is a global music streaming service, reaching 63 million people in 150 countries each month, with a focus on Gen Z and millennial consumers.
As Editorial Director, I persuaded the CEO to begin using the platform to also engage with the socio-cultural issues that were affecting the brand’s audience away from the dance floors.
Working with a team of marketers and in-house creatives, I produced topical streams about subjects such as Brexit, Black Lives Matter, and the future of UK nightlife, the latter of which was live-streamed by 5 million people and helped save Fabric nightclub from closure.
I also refreshed the social media and playlist content strategy and commissioned its first print zine, which you can see below.
